DIY 2016 Calendar

Hello everyone and Happy Hump Day! Today we did something new. This spruced up calendar can be good for a simple yet shiny decoration in your home or to give as a gift that was made with love.

We started with our Glitter Card Stock in Champagne Gem (GCS058), Green(GCS006), and Plum(GCS047). We die cut each color into that curvy sign shape. Next we used some basic mustard card stock and die cut it with a smaller sign shape, added the printed phrase "Make The Days Count..." For the calendar part we printed out the months on white printing paper, we used the brads to put them together and layered a brown card stock on the end.

For the sticky note pad we used our Strong Tape to glue it to the glitter paper. We next added a Plum colored ribbon to the top to hang , then brown ribbon from the first sign to the next to the next using our glue gun to keep it together. For the top sign we added green flower embellishments to top corner and bottom corner.

For the second sign we added a green bow to the top corner of the calendar and for the last sign, we added a poinsettia and the phrase "Thanks" using our Glitter Card Stock in Plum and Coffee(GCS031). We glued this all together using our Glue Tape in Permanent GT001, Foam Tape in Big Circle FT003, Strong Tape ST001 and a Glue gun for the hard to glue pieces!
Hope you all love this idea! It was definitely a fun project!

Pictured below is the papers and supplies we used for this project.
