October isn't only about Halloween, but also about the month of raising awareness for Brest Cancer. Think Pink for a Cure! Today we decided to show our support with this card.
We started off with a white card stock base. We used our Cricut machine with the Wild Card cartridge. We layered with a pastel pink card stock, in front we embossed it with our Cuttlebug: "A Bit of Paisley" embossing folder, and inside the card we layered as well.
We then die cutted 4 medium squares of our Glitter Card Stock in French Red(GCS020). We printed phrases "HOPE", "Believe", "Support", and "Fight" on a hot pink card stock, we then die cut the phrases out with a small square. We used the medium glitter squares and then the hot pink phrase squares, layered them and added to the front of the card.
We then used the machine to cut our a little flag using the same French Red(GCS020) paper and layering a pastel pink card stock on top. We stamped "Hello my friend" and we also stamped inside the card "Thinking of you". To finish the look of this card we added a pastel pink ribbon to symbolize the Breast Cancer ribbon and used a pearl ended needle to keep it together, we put that right through thee card to keep it in place.
The sparkle, the textures, the colors, the message, is what makes this card so girly, chic, elegant, and lovely. Support that special person! Fight with that special person, and believe with them! Remember to always Think Pink!
