Fun and creative Bookmarks

Since all schools are in session now, Pretty sure your child,or if your a teacher, have books to read. So why settle for a boring original bookmark? We have made fun, creative, and colorful bookmarks! these go over the corners of the pages instead of the original bookmarks that go right through the middle of the book. We have contrasted our papers with our Washi Tapes and Glitter tapes and we do say, THESE MATCH SO WELL!

For this project all you need is Cardstock paper of your choice, Washi Tapes, Glitter Tapes, Glue Tapes, scissors, ruler, and a pencil. Below are the steps to get the do the bookmark.

With the ruler line up three squares. Cut the squares out(not each but the whole outline of the three squares). You fold one square corner to corner with itself and do the same with the other square. Fold over the triangle shaped corner over and the same as for the other triangle side.

After i have folded my bookmark i start with either the Washi Tape or Glitter Tape and line it up till i cover the background perfectly. Glue one flap on top of the other. Then your finished and have completed this very easy bookmark! :)

Here is an example of how these book marks work!

We used our Basic Glitter Paper in Sunflower Dot(BGP202) and Kiwi Dot(BGP203). Matched the yellow with our Washi Tape in Chamomile(WT002) and the green with our Washi Tape in Lavender(WT003).

We used our Glitter Paper in Pink(GCS001) and Sky Blue(GCS009). We matched the Pink with our Washi Tape in Peach(WT013) and the Sky Blue with our Washi Tape in Osmanthus(WT006).

We used our Glitter Paper in Bronze Copper(GCS030) and in Plum(GCS047). We matched Brown with our Glitter Tape in Sky Blue(GTS007) and the Plum with our Glitter Tape in White(GTS010).
