Let's Hear it for the Red, White and Blue

It's Monday and we have some really adorable ideas
for you today to use our brand New I love America Collection
This paper is filled with lots of bright colors and embossed
glitter that really, really makes it fun to work with... it's great
for all those picnic photos, 4th of July, family photos, military and
just about anything that has red, white and blue in the photo.

and it's time for a giveaway so
be sure and leave a comment telling us how you like it and how
you would like to use it for a chance to win a pack of these new papers.....
Who couldn't resist the chance to get a hold of some of this right?

"Fireworks"by our Guest Designer Shannon Morgan
Our first page is from Shannon and she used one of the
new diecuts and distressed it and the red glitter paper
that she used for the backround.  She created her title by
hand drawing out the letters and then matted it and cut it out.
She also distressed the photos and added tiny white borders
inside each one that really make the photos stand out.

and use them for lettering and for the top of her page
as a really great focal point for the banner sticker!!!

All American Family by Brittny Kilvaug
Who isn't proud to live here in America and what
a great page to do by celebrating with a cute family
photo and adding lots of extra stars, letters, borders
and a little bit of machine stitching for extra detail.

"Sisters and Friends" by Tracey Taylor
Tracey cut off the patriotic edge of our die cut so that she could
create an everyday page about her daughters.  She layered
it with sewn strips of paper to create a ledge for the photos
to stand on and a place for the buttons on the top left.
She also added cute letters for a title, doilies
and made some matching buttons for added detail.

Design Note: When I cut the edge off a piece of shaped paper, I have a hard

time discarding it so I usually add it to my page. If you look at the
bottom on my page, you will see where I added that extra little bit as a fun
design element.

"God Bless the USA" by Nicole Wise
Description:  Can you say fussy cutting?!  My scissors got quite
a workout on this one and I love the effect that it created!
The flowing stripes and stars along the bottom and top of the layout
are cut from one of the pieces of patterned paper from the
I Love America line. I used lots of Best Creation Foam Tape squares
on each  piece to pop them off the background paper which
gave the whole layout the look of a shadow box.  I cut the stars
along the left-hand side from the back side of the same piece of paper.
There is so much texture and sparkle and shine to this paper,
it's a TON of fun to work with!

Prodcuts Used:  IA002, IA006, IA008, IA012, IA013, IA014

"Oh say can you see" by Julie Walton

more 3 D looking by layering them and popping them up a little!!!

bright and glittery and works great with the photos.
