New Samples for Fall

Fall is a Wonderful season of changing colors
and the smell of freshly picked baked apples, raspberries,
fresh roasted corn on the cob
and
the chance to go find the biggest pumpkins
at the pumpkin patch to decorate.

It's a time for falling leaves,
cool breezes and
long walks in the Autumn Sun.

Let us inspire you with our projects today
to capture that wonderful feeling of fall
and create something fun!

Don't forget to grab your camera and get a
picture of your kids when all the leaves
are piled up high and ready for jumping in!

Supplies:
GP 409, 410, 407, 414
Autumn Splendor chipboard and
element stickers

This is a quick project to keep memories
of a fun trip to the pumpkin patch or an amazing
family outing or hiking trip!

To make it we cut a piece of chipboard up
tied it together with jute and covered it with cardstock.
We sanded it and inked it and
we added strips of our fall paper. We also added jute,
buttons, ribbons and stickers and a calendar.
The handle is made from sticks tied on with

wire to hang on the wall.

It's fun to make something old new again
just by adding a little paper, ribbons,
leaves and stickers.
I found this old basket and thought it would
be a great gift container to fill with maybe
freshly baked apple muffins, apple butter and
some pretty candles.
You could also put strips of paper to go
around the candles to make it match
and everyone will think your amazing!!

and last for today.....

Traditionally Fall is a time to reflect back on the
year and remind ourselves of all the good things
we have done and things we have received.

This simple paper journal can be a place
to hold all
those special memories,
thankful thoughts and maybe

even a few pictures of those you love
or the special places that you traveled to.

supplies:
BG 410, BGP223, GCS030
paper pad, flowers, yarn & stickles

Hope you like our new fall ideas and
be sure and check back Thursday for more !!!

AND...

We couldn't wait till Friday so we
are announcing the new Design Team
tomorrow morning on Wed.

It's going to be
an Amazing Team!!!

More New Card Ideas

Todays cards are made with Lili of the Valley Stamps
and design cut sheets from the UK.
Don't you just love all the sparkles and glitter dots!

We sure do!!

This card was made with our glitter dot papers
and GP 242 and BGP 216 & 205.
We used a Spellbinder die for the backround
and just a little chalk ink to antique it a bit.
Stamp is colored with Copic markers and colored pencils.

We love this card with the most adorable
little girl getting all dressed up with her
moms accessories! We used purchased roses,
and punched out the flowers and leaves and added
just a little bit more glitter on them
to go with the glittery backround paper!!

We love lots of glitter can you tell...

supplies:
GP 128, BGP 218, GCS 045

This card was made with one of LOTV's design cut sheets.
They are already colored and ready to put on a card.
We love that!!
We used a Spellbinders die to mat the picture, added flowers
and ribbons, chalk ink, pearls and a cute stick pin.
Isn't it just so cute!

Our supplies:
GP 412 and BGP 216

And last but not least..

We just had to throw this in because it came out
so cute we couldn't wait! We love making
gift card holders and this is a folded card with a little pocket
in the inside to hold a cute tag and gift card.
We used our New Winter Wonderful papers
and made a pretty snowflake on the cricut
to put under the cute little snowflake metal tag.

Didn't this medallion come out gorgeous!!

Our supplies:
GP 434, 438 and MSS 026

We hoped you loved our new samples

New Cards for Fall, Halloween & Christmas

It's our 2nd day of fun cards using the new
Stampendous Stamps and our beautiful
glittery and embossed papers!

For this card we stamped on a matted spellbinders
scallop shape, popped it on an embossed flower print and
glued that on a piece of our princess paper.
We added a little extra glitter and ribbon
for a cute Thank you card for just about anyone.

This is just an easy double matted
stamp on our fall paper that is already
full of lots of leaves, glitter and embossing.
Just add a piece of ribbon and
glitter dots.

There are lots of fun colors in our New Fall Collection
to match perfect with a cute cat
jumping in the leaves. We added one of our stick on borders,
some buttons and jute and just a bit
of pretend sewing to make it pop.

Hi Everyone,

Today we are sharing some fun cards for all you
card makers out there. Stampendous was very gracious
to let us use their new Summer CHA Release for
our cards and we think it turned out great!
It was the perfect match!

Our glitter & embossed papers made it super easy
to create these adorable cards for
the upcoming holidays.

You only have to add a little ultra fine glitter
and some sparkle dots and it's matches perfectly.
It is so, so cute!
supplies:
GP 332, 334, 328

It is so much fun baking cookies for the holidays
and this would be the perfect card to tuck in
a basket of homemade goodies for someone.

supplies:
GP 437, 441
ribbon, glitter and white cardstock

This penguin is so, so cute!!
It looks perfect on our snow flurry and snowflake
papers with a little ribbon, glitter and punched snowflakes
from some plain white cardstock.
Maybe even add your own glitter to make
it shine even more!
supplies:
GP 438, 439

Adding pop or foam dots makes the card
have lots more dimension
and don't forget the chalking too!

Check back tomorrow for more from Stampendous
and a few from Lili of the Valley
on Thursday.

See you tomorrow....

It's the second day of our
Back 2 School projects
and we wanted to make something fun
to keep all your child's report cards in!
(this idea was given to me along time ago)
but it took me until now to make a
really cute one!

For this project we just used a purchased
file folder and covered the outside
and the separate files inside.
We punched out cute tags with the grades
on them & added some cute black letters too.
Now it's ready to fill with lots of
amazing treasures from each school year!
supplies:
The outside was GP 374 and then we
used scraps from each of the papers for
the inside pieces.

This would be a great gift idea for
a special teacher made from
little wooden frames.
Each one is covered in all the
different school papers,
fastened together with ribbon
and sanded for a weathered look.
Isn't it so cute!!

Keeping the memory of your child's
first day of school is a must
so here is an idea using one of
Becky Fleck's Page Maps from her blog.
It's simple and quick and you could easily
add a 2nd page with lots of pictures of friends
and their new school and teacher.
supplies:
BGP 213, Chipboard stickers, GP 379, 382, 384
red ric-rac and white cardstock

Teachers are very special and
this is a quick idea
to give them a card telling how special
you think they really are!

supplies:
GP 381, BGP 215 ,white card stock
ribbon, spellbinder die, heart paper clip

If you haven't made boxes yet
you are going to have to give it a try. This cute teacher gift is made from
1 piece of paper and our very own clear transparencies
(TBW 010) You can even make dividers inside the box
to add home baked cookies and treats.
Finish it off with a cute ribbon
and a special tag and it's something really special!

I think all kids have to get these
boring composition books each year
but adding a bit of gorgeous glittery papers
and some stickers makes it really, really cute!

Supplies:
GP 383, BGP 205, 215
Chipboard school stickers &
chipboard letters GCBA 002

We hope these projects will inspire you
to create some fun things with your kids
or as a surprise for them
to start their new school year! Have fun!

And...
Check back tomorrow for our
1st Blog Challenge it should be really fun!

Back 2 School project ideas:

For some of us parents the new school year is right
around the corner and it's time again for lunches,
being a taxi mom
and helping with homework...

So make it fun for your kids and
customize their usual supplies
as something unique
and extra special just for them!!

Decorate their usual vocab. cards with cute
papers and ribbons...

supplies:
BGP 213, 205 & GP 383
small file cards

And maybe even a cute teacher gift
so that he/she can reward the kids with
a little something special...

Supplies:
GP374, 379 & BGP 212
EC001 and GS 002 red glitter star
purchased plastic box

This is a fun teacher project out of a bit of cardboard
and some school papers and stickers
so that a teacher can post
their special student of the week
or just someone who did something
really special!

Supplies:
GP 373, 383, 377, 374, 379, and
BGP 211, 213, 215, 205 & ESG 001

Add a small calendar that can be torn
or changed for each month

And...
Cute cards can be made and stored in the pocket
on the back to put pictures of the kids
that deserve a big ya-hoo!

A simple plastic pencil box
can be turned into something really special :)
with buttons, papers, sequins, and stickers
or anything else you can find.

Hope you like the ideas and check back
for more Back 2 School
ideas in a couple of days....

Make & Take Purses

The week has slipped by but we wanted to post the purses
from the show and promise to get the directions
and patterns for the ones we did loaded by next week!

I think that the black and pink swirl bag was the favorite at the show
but my favorite was the peach bag with the tiny
flowers and rhinestones.
Actually it is the same paper used on both- only 2 different styles
and it would be great for a bridal shower hostess
gift for each gal too!

AND...

This was so much fun we are going
to do a challenge with it next week so watch
for it on the blog....

Next Week-

We will also be giving you some ideas for back
to school pages and other fun things
with our Back 2 School line just in time to personalize all of their
school stuff and maybe even a teacher gift.

Thanks for stopping by and don't forget to leave a comment :)
