Instructions:

1. Carefully remove front cover from spiral binding of journal.

2. Measure journal cover. Adhere Basic Glitter Paper #BGP401 White to right half of journal. Adhere Glitter Cardstock #GCS014 Black to left half of journal.

3. Adhere strip of lace down center of journal.

4. Adhere gems down center of lace. Adhere black ribbon to edge of lace.

5. Cut 2 ½” diecut letters from Glitter Cardstock #GCS014 Black and adhere to journal.

6. Tie ribbon in bow. Adhere bow and flower to journal.

7. Replace journal cover.

I found out Thanksgiving is going to be at my house this year, so I thought I better get busy coming up with ideas for decorations!

Gini fussy cut the center of the die cut away, leaving a frame. She glued the frame to a heavy piece of cardboard that had been sprayed with Chalkboard paint. She then added a couple of rosettes and some rustic ribbon, and had a cute blackboard that she can write her Thanksgiving menu on!

For this little 3-d pumpkin, Gini cut 5 strips of paper 1" x 12", backed them with the glitter cardstock, and joined them in the center with a brad. She fanned them out evenly, and attached the tops together to form the pumpkin.

If you haven't made a flap book you are in for a really

fun treat today!! These fun little books have a basic

design for 3 pages and then you get to add on lots of

paper and stickers and of course flaps to make more room

for more paper, stickers and photos!! If it sounds intriguing

It's Hip to be Square!!

Squares can be fun and easy to use... they can be

the basic backround of a page or they can be the

be the focal point depending on how you use them.

You can make them large or small or you can turn

them different ways but they all add up to some

really fantastic looking layouts or works of art!

Best Creation Design Team Call!

Ladies! It’s that time of the year again and Best Creation is searching for the next design team! We are looking for enthusiastic and talented crafters who would like to work with the best of the best in glitter paper!

The new team will last from August 2011 through January 2012. As a team member, you must be willing to:

· Promote Best Creation
· Create 5 projects per month (with description of products used and brief tutorial)

To apply for a spot on the team, send us the following:

Happy 4th of July everyone....

In America- today is our day to Celebrate with Family

and Friends the joy we have of being a Free Country.

We celebrate those who serve our nation
to keep these freedoms that we have and those who have

died to get us these freedoms that we hold so dear to us today!

Our Design Team has made some special pages to show

their celebrations a little early and pages to celebrate

those who serve in the military!

Notes for my layout: I have several family members who have served
in the military, but the only military service that my kids have really been
exposed to is our friend Shawn who serves in the Air Force.
We were so lucky to have him as a friend and neighbor.
He was transferred to Georgia and has spent time overseas
since he's been there. We miss him dearly, but are so proud of his service
and my kids are well aware that it's Shawn and his friends who keep us safe and free.
Thank you Shawn, and all of our military both here at home and serving abroad.

The 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays!

I just love how everyone comes together and has a good time,

just the way a celebration for our country's freedom and

recognizing those who have served and are serving to

preserve that freedom should be. I love the color combo

of Red, White, and blue and Best Creation does it up in one amazing way!!!

One thing I always like to do is to get 4th of July t-shirts

...kind of like a tradition :) My granddaughter Jenna is the cutest

little sparkler of the bunch...in my humble opinion anyway, lol!!!

Hope everyone enjoys the holiday and gets to spend time with family and friends!

Katarina made three tiny banners across the card and

added a border across it with the year. Then she added the

chipboard Happy 4th and tied cute silver and blue ribbons.

Then to finish it off she punched a scalloped edge at the top center

and added a small blue scalloped border under it to set it off.

It all looks so great on the kraft cardstock don't you think?

So it's the weekend and we have had lots to share with
ideas this week with one last day of projects from our
BC Design Team. If you haven't tried these fun little treasures
you need to and you will most surely get hooked. They
are the perfect size for mini's and have lots of paper in them
for not alot of money and .... you can also make cards and
pages with them... Did I say the possibilites are endless...
